Trump wants the Israel-Iran dispute to come to a “real end.”
According to Agence France-Presse (AFP), US President Donald Trump stated on Tuesday that he was seeking a “genuine end” to the conflict between Israel and Iran, not merely a truce.

Shortly after returning to the United States from a G7 summit in Canada, Trump addressed reporters:

We are asking for something better than a ceasefire, not a ceasefire.

The president stated that he wanted a “full give-up” from Iran and that he was searching for “an end, a real conclusion, not a truce.”

Additionally, Trump claimed on Truth Social that he had not inquired about peace with Iran in any “way, shape, or form” and that Iran “should have taken the agreement that was on the table.”
